The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a globally accepted, computer-adaptive exam administered by GMAC for admission into graduate-level management programs, including MBAs
A major advantage of the GMAT is its computer-adaptive nature, meaning the difficulty level adjusts according to the test-taker’s responses, providing a personalized and accurate measurement of ability. The exam can be taken year-round at designated test centers or through an online at-home version, offering flexibility for students worldwide.

As of 2024, the exam follows the new GMAT Focus Edition format and runs for 2 hours and 15 minutes, with one optional 10-minute break

It consists of three equal-length sections:

    • Quantitative Reasoning (21 questions, 45 minutes)
    • Verbal Reasoning (23 questions, 45 minutes)
    • Data Insights—a modern blend replacing Integrated Reasoning and AWA (20 questions, 45 minutes).
    • Each section is scored between 60 and 90 in 1-point increments, with the total score ranging from 205 to 805.
